George Harris Jr.

George Alex Harris Jr., age 78, of Bladenboro passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. He was born in Bladen County on April 24, 1944, to the late George Alex Harris Sr. and Ruth Davis Harris. Alex was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Sonia Harris Bryan, two sisters Barbara Cain and Virginia McKeithan, and one brother James Lonnie Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Harris Walsh of Tampa, FL, sister Carolyn Davis of Elizabethtown, five grandchildren Dylon Bryan, Taylar Bryan, Anthony Walsh, Ryan Walsh and Victoria Walsh, and two great grandchildren, Jensen Walsh and Makalynn Bryan.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
