William Tatum

Bishop William "Bill" Troy Tatum, age 65, of White Oak went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents: James H. Tatum and Letha Horne Tatum, one brother: James Lewis Tatum and one sister: Nancy Brewer. Bill leaves behind his loving wife: Sue Tatum of the home; son: Brent Tatum and wife Tabitha of Myrtle Beach; daughter: Christy Dowless and husband Greg of Bladenboro; three brothers: Bobby Tatum and wife Linda of Rockfish; Tommy Tatum and wife Joyce of Grays Creek, and Mitch Tatum also of Grays Creek; three sisters: Ann Britt, Linda Tatum, both of Wilmington; Mary Jackson and husband Bud of Grays Creek and five grandchildren: Maverick, Evangelina, Aaron, Zak, and Caleb.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, November 16, 2018 at White Oak Family Worship Center, 1932 Burney Rd, White Oak, NC 28399. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at White Oak Baptist Church Recreation Center, 9578 Hwy 53 West, White Oak, NC 28399. Burial will follow the services in the White Oak Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
