Ada Lynn Thompson Bullard, 67, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Charles Bullard of the home, their two fur babies Oscar and Jake, one brother George Thompson (Barbara Ann), two sisters Susan Richardson (Bobby) and Sally Thompson, all of Clarkton, sisters-in-law, Brenda Thompson, Wanda Blake, Debra Simmons, and Elsie Brisson, brother-in-law Emory Bullard, 10 nephews and 17 nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Bazzle Thompson Jr. and Betty Doris Pait Thompson, one brother Rodney Thompson, and her loving dog, Pete.
Ada was all about family. She spent a lifetime caring for others, especially her loving husband, Charles, and their fur babies. She enjoyed telling her siblings what to do and loved nothing better than family get togethers. Flower gardening, canning vegetables, beach fishing and yard sales were her favorite hobbies. She was a compassionate lady with a golden heart that will be eternally remembered for all the love and devotion she gave to everyone.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 4 pm in the Bullard Cemetery. Rev. Howard Albright will be officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
