Agnes Clarke

Lumberton Agnes Keel Clarke, 87, of Lumberton, died Monday, April 10, 2006, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.



She was the wife of the late Rev. H. P. Keel and the late William C. Clarke. She and her late husband, the Rev. H.P. Keel pastored several churches in North Carolina. She served along side her husband, the late Rev. Keel, who served as the state overseer of the North Carolina Conference of the Emmanuel Holiness Church during the years of 1964 until 1975.



Visitation will be held 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, at East Laurinburg Church of God. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at East Laurinburg Church of God. Burial will be in the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery, Laurinburg.



She is survived by a son, H. P. Keel, Jr., daughters, Ruth Priest, Irene Perkins, and Billie Ann Tucker; a brother, Charles Cooper; sisters, Geneva Matthews, Marie Strickland, Ruby Jackson and Catherine Mock; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
