Agnes Ellis

Agnes Butler Ellis, 66, of Bladenboro passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Franklin Ellis, infant daughter Amanda Lee Ellis, parents Charlie and Mae Butler, brothers: Eugene and Henry Charles (P.D.) Butler and four sisters: Elizabeth (Libby) Rankin, Phyllis Norris, Devola Perry and Eunice Russ. Survivors include two daughters Loretta Dicicco (Louis) and Maxine Jones (Pat); son Sammy Ellis, daughter-in-law Janna Ellis, grandchildren: Morgan Faith Jones, Mason Patrick Jones, Jessica Danielle Ellis and Alexandria (Allie) Renee Ellis, two sisters Earlene Mishoe and Margaret ( Peggy) Dowless (Ray),one brother Robert (Robbie) Butler (Jill), a special pet Angel, many nieces, nephews, special friends and loved ones.
Agnes worked for Bo's grocery store in Elizabethtown many years until her retirement in 2012. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 3:30 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Causey and Rev. Terry Dove officiating. Burial will follow the services in Singletary Cemetery in Bladenboro.
