Agnes Hester

Agnes Maxine Davis Hester, 83, of Bladenboro passed away Monday, May 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Attie Davis, her husbands William Babson and Hubert Hester, one infant daughter and seven brothers: Edwin Dove,Terry Davis Sr., Stewart Davis, Milton Davis, Onley Davis, Bennie Davis, and Jerry Davis. Survivors include two sons: Donald Babson and wife Hilda of Lumberton, and Keith Babson and wife Jennifer of Bladenboro, three daughters: Sandra Briley and husband Garry, Beverly Sweat and husband Jerry, and Michelle Babson, all of Bladenboro, one sister Wanda Collins of Erwin, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

Ms. Agnes was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed time spent with her church family and made the "Best" collards in the world. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Northside Baptist Church in Bladenboro. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Northside Baptist Church followed by a burial in Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro.
