Agnes Teresa Pittore Nance passed suddenly on August 9, 2007, at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Born on January 22, 1924 in Baltimore, MD. Agnes lived 83 years in the Washington area and also had a home in Bladenboro, NC.. She attended Immaculate Conception and graduated from Eastern High School and attended University of Maryland. She retired as a Paralegal Specialist for the Interstate Commerce Commission in 1982.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Richardson
Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Singletary Cemetery in Butters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bladen Funeral Home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Dixon Nance; loving mother of Linda Beam of Sunderland MD; Gerald Dixon Nance and wife Deborah of Bladenboro NC; Rose Ann Taylor and husband Sandy of Bowie MD.; sister of Irma Hurlbut of Rockville, MD,; Stella Singletary of Franconia, Va.; Joe Pittore of Kensington, MD.; a sister in-law, Lucille Jones of Silver Spring, MD; also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
