Akra Merritt Jr.

Akra "Pedo" Merritt Jr. 70 of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016. He was born on September 11, 1945 to the late Akra Merritt Sr. and Alma Russ Merritt. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at Meares Cemetery with Rev. Danny Lewis officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Merritt of the home; his daughter, Heather Merritt of North Myrtle Beach SC; his grand pup Jax; two brothers, Graham and Michael Merritt of Tarheel; and his sister, Gail Merritt of Elizabethtown.
