Alfred William Harvey

Alfred William Harvey, 79, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Theodore Harvey and Clara Forkum Harvey; brothers: Stanley Andritze, George Harvey, Richard Brittingham, Rome Brittingham, Arthur Harvey and Jerry Harvey.

Alfred leaves behind his son, Craig Harvey of the home; brother, Ricky Harvey (Kitty) of West Virginia; sisters: Diane Thornton (Norman) of Virginia, Mary Ellen Harvey Wade (Ted) of Elizabethtown; grandson, Joseph Harvey (Ashley); great-grandchild, Harper Ryan Harvey; daughter-in-law, Michelle Alsdorf; two nephews and five great nephews.

Alfred lived in New York for most of his life before moving to Elizabethtown. He was a hard working gentleman with a huge sense of humor. He enjoyed telling others how great he was at playing poker. His playful yet kind spirit will forever be remembered.
