Alfred Ivey

Alfred Truman Ivey, 71, Army Veteran of Madison, NC formerly of Elizabethtown passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Darius and Minnie Ivey, an infant sister, and a great granddaughter, Araya. Survivors include his wife, Judy R. Ivey of the home, two daughters: Sharon (Reice) of Siler City and Crystal (David) of Elizabethtown; two brothers: Jerry Ivey (Sue) of Carthage, NC; and David Ivey of Elizabethtown; three sisters: Nancy Smith of Climax, NC; Bonnie Ivey of Elizabethtown; and Sally Milczakowski (Tom) of Elizabethtown and eight grandchildren: Ashley, Adam, DJ and wife Jocelyn, Angel, Justin, Kirkland, Braeden, and Paisley. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:45 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 2 pm officiated by Cameron McGill. Burial will follow the services in Grimes-Tatum Cemetery in Tar Heel.
