His favorite thing to do was to throw a popping bug bait while drifting the banks of the Cape Fear and Black Rivers. The true love of Alfred Ray’s life was his family whom he meticulously cared for and loved. He had all the patience in the world and let no outside influences take precendence over them. He modeled a wonderful example of a husband and a father and left no doubts about what that was supposed to look like. He has left a big hole that will be hard to be filled.
