Allen Davis

Allen Barker Davis, 76, of Elizabethtown passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his wife Melba Bryan Davis and brother Hurbert Davis. Survived by his wife Judy B. Davis of the home, son Allen Dale Davis and wife Twyla of Bladenboro; daughter Freda Hales and husband Phillip of Bladenboro; step children: Cynthia Coleman of Tabor City; Lisa Parnell and husband Jeff of Elizabethtown; Kristy Coleson of Elizabethtown; brothers: Ira Davis of Bladenboro; Clingman Davis and wife Paula also of Bladenboro; sisters: Magdalene Musselwhite of St. Pauls; Shirley Taylor of Elizabethtown; and Annie Laurie Taylor of Florida; five grandchildren: Sophia Brixey and husband William, Brittany Hales, Anthony Davis, Jeremy Davis, and Bethany Davis, five step-grandchildren: Zachary Coleman, Jeremy Parnell, Chase Coleman, Carrie Parnell and Hannah Tempkins, two great grandchildren: Caison Brixey and Brayden Johnson and three step-grandchildren: Madalynn, Vincent and Elizabeth.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow the services in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro
