Ande Kyle Elkins

June 28, 1960 — February 15, 2024

Clarkton

Ande Kyle Elkins, 63, of Clarkton passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was born in Columbus County on June 28, 1960, the son of the late William Ashley Elkins and Eunice Caroline Greene.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Alleyn Elkins and infant twin girls Lindsey and Michelle Elkins. Left to cherish his memory are his fiancé Loraine Lowery of Clarkton, son Kyle Elkins of Clarkton, daughter Erika Elkin-Lovett (Zac) of Whiteville, brother Ashley Elkins of Clarkton, two grandchildren Sophie Caroline Elkins and Liam Cole Elkins and one loving niece, Stephanie Miller.

Ande loved his children and his grandchildren dearly. He deeply cherished his fiancé Loraine and was totally devoted to her. Ande was an intelligent man. He excelled in his work as a Technology Specialist with SAP and had his own private pilot’s license. He was the go-to person for any questions one might have. Even if he didn’t have the answers, he would give you the confidence to let you know you could get it done, right or wrong. He often complimented his children and let them know how proud he was of them. Ande was a compassionate person with a servant’s heart. He didn’t mind doing for others and enjoyed helping anyone. There is no service that would be equivalent to what Ande gave and did in this life to make it a better place. So as spoken by Ande in his will…

“The deceased wishes not to disrupt a friend’s wonderful life. Just honor me with an occasional memory.”

At Ande’s request, the family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 5-7 pm  at his home on 6253 Elkton Road in Clarkton, NC. The family request that no food be brought for Thursday, only to come and share in the many memories of the wonderful person that Ande truly was.
