Ann Ellis

Ann Stone Fields Ellis, 75, of Tar Heel, NC passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice House in Whiteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Dorcas Stone, two brothers, Charles Paul and Robert Stone, and first husband, Charles Ronald Fields. She leaves behind her loving husband, Tommy Ellis of the home, two sons, Ronald Fields (Kim) and Stevie Fields (Susan), both of Tar Heel, two daughters, Lori Fields Hursey (Alex) of Dublin, Sharon Fields Hester (Matt) of Abbottsburg, one brother, John B. Stone of St. Pauls, eleven grandchildren: Nikki, Ashley, Alicia, Zach, Kaitlin, Dakota, Savannah, Nick, Holly, Ian, and Julianne, six great grandchildren: Bailey, Knox, Emberly, Luke, Annie and Brystol and one fur baby Molly.

She will be remembered as a strong willed, well traveled woman who loved fishing, cooking, shopping and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown. Rev. Warren Hill will be officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
