Annie Parnell Hilburn, 81, of Bladenboro, died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at her home.
Born August 24, 1925, in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Hoke and Alma Parnell.
Mrs. Hilburn was predeceased by her parents; husband, Henry Marion Hilburn; son, Robert A. Hilburn; and sister, Catherine Yarborough.
Mrs. Hilburn is survived by sons, Henry Marion Hilburn, Jr., Samuel Hilburn and wife, Sarah, Donald Hilburn and Horace Hilburn, all of Bladenboro, and James Graham Hilburn and wife Carolyn of Clarkton; daughters, Virginia H. Allen and husband Ray of Elizabethtown, Alma L. Hilburn, and Sharon L. Bishop and husband Murray, all of Bladenboro; daughter in law, Janice R. Hilburn of Lumberton; brothers, William Ross Parnell of San Antonio, Texas, Hoke M. Parnell and Bobby Dale Parnell, both of Bladenboro; sister, Melba Conklin of Wilmington; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
The visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, at Butters Baptist Church and at other times at the home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, at Butters Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Winebarger and Rev. Greg Packer officiating. Burial will follow in Singletary Cemetery on Butters Cemetery Road.
