Annie Smith

Annie Ruth Meares Smith, 93, of Bladenboro passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernice Smith, one son Bernice Brake Smith, her parents D.W. and Mallie Meares, three brothers: Jessie, Luther and Bert Meares, and three sisters: Rosie West, Sally Watts, and Christine McKenzie. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Dennis Harrell and Rev. Charles Hester officiating. Burial will follow the service in Singletary Cemetery in Butters.
