Arnold Dew, Sr.

Arnold "Toby" Dew, Sr., 74, of Dublin passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at home. He was born in Bladen County on August 28, 1940 to the late Ernest and Letha Smith Dew.

Toby is survived by his wife, Margie Evers Dew of the home; three sons, Arnold Dew, Jr. and Anthony Dew both of Live Oak and Ricky L. Tyson and his wife Sharon of Charlotte; three daughters, Kathie Hill of the home, Donna S. Blackburn of Hope Mills and Vanessa Bunch and husband Mike of Murfreesboro; ten grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Clarissa, Lee, Dalton, Christian, Audrey, Carrie, Michael and Nicholas and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Christ Community Baptist Church of Elizabethtown with Rev. Leon Warren and Rev. David Rutland officiating. Burial will follow at Suggs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
