Austin Absher

Austin Thomas Absher, infant son of Robert Thomas Absher and Heather Lukes Absher of Wake Forest, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Duke University Medical Center. Austin is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Hugh McLean Porter and Ruth Scruggs Porter of Elizabethtown; maternal great grandparents, Chester Joseph Krutul of Chicago, IL, Therese Blanch Matecki of Chicago, IL and Lois Mary Paul of Downers Grove, IL. In addition to his parents, he is survived by paternal grandparents, Robert Thomas Absher and Marianne Porter Absher of Raleigh; great grandparents, Robert Lewis Absher and Sylvia Carter Absher of Elizabethtown; maternal grandparents, David Glen Lukes and Diana Lynn Lukes of Florida and a great grandfather, Glen Emmanuel Lukes of Florida.

A Graveside Service for Austin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014. It will take place at the Porter Family Cemetery in Kelly, North Carolina. Austin's cousin, Chad Porter will officiate at the service.
