Barbara Packer

Barbara Ann Packer, 67, of Bladenboro, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 16, 2010.



She is predeceased by her husband, Jim Packer; her parents Lindsey Dent and Sarah Hester Dent; two brothers, Buddy Dent and Marvin Dent; one sister, Melba Packer.





She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Guill and husband, Frankie, of Bladenboro; three brothers, Edward Dent and Euwin Dent of Bladenboro, and Earl Dent of Clarkton; one sister, Clelia Russ of Bladenboro; two grandchildren, Brittany Dowless and husband, Bobby Dale Dowless; Brandon Thompson and wife, Kyrie; one great-grandchild, Joey Dowless; and Manley Wright, a friend of nine years, and his daughter, Amanda Wright, and grandson, Austin Monroe.





The family will receive friends at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home, on Monday, July 19, from 7-9 PM. The service will be Tuesday, July 20 at 2:00 PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Carol Fonville officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Church Cemetery.
