Beatrice Atkinson

Beatrice Baysdon Atkinson passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014, following an extended illness. She was born July 22, 1924 at St. Pauls, NC to Joseph and Nancy Baysdon. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Atkinson; her daughter, Brenda Stall; her grandson, Wesley Atkinson; and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by her three sons, Kirby and wife, Marty Atkinson, of Monroe, GA, Ed and wife, Cindy Atkinson of Farmville, NC and Fred and wife, Edna Atkinson, of Clarkton, NC; eleven grandchildren, Kyle Atkinson, Chris Atkinson, Leigh Caputo, Brian Atkinson, Brad Atkinson, Jordan Atkinson, John Atkinson, Michael Atkinson, Jeffrey Stall, Matt Stall, and Kristen Stall; sixteen great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She loved her family and also church family at Clarkton First Baptist Church. She was a fun, joyful, loving person who was loved by all.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Clarkton First Baptist Church. The Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Mark Miller and Rev. Charles Hester. Burial will follow at Clarkton Cemetery.
