Bebe Jackson

Bebe Gail Gunter Jackson, 64, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father James Gunter, father-in-law Joseph L. Jackson, maternal grandparents Ernest and Itlean Ashley, and paternal grandparents George and Callie Gunter.

Bebe is survived by her mother Bobbie Joann Gunter, her husband Joe A. Jackson, daughter Hope Jackson, two brothers James Ray Gunter and Ricky Jackson, six sisters: Mary Jo Nickerson, Donna Bryan, Janice Barnes, Amanda Jackson, Sherry West, and Pam Jackson, mother-in-law Dolly Jackson, special cousins, Stephanie Humphries, and Dede Prevatte. She also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.

Bebe was a generous, compassionate soul. Any child she ever met knew the love of “Aunt Bebe”. She loved them all and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 3:00 pm at New Center Baptist Church for Bebe and Hope Jackson.  We will be gathering to share our favorite memories, our stories, to laugh, and to cry, followed by a meal and singing on the grounds to honor two wonderful ladies who are greatly missed.
