Bennett Singletary

Bennett Knox Singletary, 77, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, James C. Singletary and Gertrude Singletary; and his wife, Betty M. Singletary. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy B. Collier and husband Dennis of Selma; brothers, James Singletary, Jr. and wife Alice of Bladenboro, Ronald Singletary and wife Wanda of Bladenboro; Bobby Singletary and wife Wanda of Bladenboro; sister, Wanda Shaw-Cribb and husband Don of Bladenboro; two grandchildren, Emily Lennon and husband Andy, and Kyle Bass and wife Lisa; three great-grandchildren, Tristan Bass, Delilah Bass, and Nevaeh Lennon; and one step-grandchild, April Collier.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Bladenboro, NC. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Whray, Rev. Bruce Miller, and the Rev. Ken Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

At all other times, the family will receive friends at his house, 3334 Cabbage Road, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
