Benny Davis

Benny Lee Davis, age 74, of Clarkton passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents: Thurman and Flossie Smith and two brothers: Johnnie and Boyd Davis. Benny leaves behind one son: Ricky Davis of Clarkton; four sisters: Betty Bilberry of Turkey; Joan Pelizzari of Turkey; Janet Hayes of Raeford and Connie Britt of Lumberton and one grandson: Brandon Lee Davis.

Benny came from a farming family but was known for his mechanic skills. He could fix any make or model but his passion was working on the classics and building race cars. Benny loved his grandson more than anything and enjoyed taking him to the store. He also loved to travel and drive big trucks. Benny certainly will be missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
