Betty Britt

Betty Jo Britt, 84, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Verna Britt, one brother, Wayne Britt, one sister, Melba Dove, one great grandson, Ashton Britt and her lifelong love, husband Murdick Britt. Betty leaves behind three sons: Joe Britt (Gail) of Smithfield, VA; Samuel Britt (Charlotte) of Bladenboro; and Anthony Britt (Keesha) of Bladenboro; one daughter, Brenda McCormick of Spring Lake, NC; nine grandchildren: Beth Nance, Ashley Copeland, Dana Stevens, Sam Britt, Kristen Edge, Holly Britt, Liston Britt, Kim Taylor, Tony Thompson, 26 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 29th at 2:00 pm at Community Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro with Rev. Terry Dove officiating. All attendees are asked to practice social distancing.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of West Bladen Assisted Living for their loving care of Betty during her stay in the facility.
