Betty Anne White McPherson, 51, of Clarkton went to her eternal home on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, H.J.  “Jimmy” White III, paternal grandparents, Henry White II and Betty White, and maternal grandparents, Worth and Betty Martin. Survivors include her mother Glenda Wasson (Bob) of Fancy Gap, VA, her husband Glenn McPherson and their children Sam McPherson and Meredith McPherson, all of the home, two brothers HJ White IV (Amy) of Mooresville, Martin White of Bladenboro and the family dog, Maggie.

A funeral service is planned for Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11 am at the First Baptist Church of Bladenboro with Rev. Samuel Van Slyke officiating. Services will conclude in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Bladenboro. The family will receive friends immediately following the services in the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the UNC Gibson Cancer Center Ribbon Fund, 1200 Pine Run Dr., Lumberton, NC 28358 or the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 176, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
