Betty Sue Taylor, 67, lifelong resident of Elizabethtown, NC died September 11, 2010, at Cape Fear Valley's Bladen County Hospital two days after suffering a massive stroke. Crippled from birth and unable to run and play, Betty is now joyfully frolicking with her Lord and Savior.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Vance and Alma Taylor of Elizabethtown and sister Frances Taylor Davis of Bladenboro. Survivors include sisters Ruth Inez Davis of Tucson, AZ; Mary Alice Taylor Dowless of Bladenboro, NC; Catherine Taylor Hodges of Troy, NC; and Rachel Taylor Johnson of Asheboro, NC; brother Lonnie Vance Taylor, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; brother-in-law Paul Davis of Bladenboro; twenty-six nieces and nephews; as well as many grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.

A graveside celebration of Betty's life will be held at 11:00 Thursday morning at Bladen Memorial Gardens on NC Hwy 242, Elizabethtown. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. At other times, the family is accepting visitors at 7870 NC Hwy 131, Bladenboro, NC.
