Billy Richardson

Billy Wayne Richardson, 70, of Alburston, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Richardson and Hattie McDowell Richardson, one daughter, Belinda Hall, two brothers, Donald Richardson, Wendell Richardson, one sister, Barbara Lowe, and one great grandson, Devin Richardson. Billy is survived by one son, Shane Richardson of Roseboro; one brother, Elwood Richardson of Whiteville; one sister, Wanda Wright of Elizabethtown, five grandchildren: Adam Hall, Anthony Hall, Aren Hall, Austin Landreth, and Dylan Richardson and four great grandchildren.

Billy, also known to his friends as “Billy Bob”, was a friendly, compassionate guy. He would give his last dollar to someone if they were in need. A talker by nature, he could talk you into doing almost anything. Billy loved to fish and loved to just stay busy. He was a friend for life and loved by all that knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Singletary Cemetery in Bladenboro with Rev. Jim Woodruff officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery. All attendees are asked to practice social distancing and wear masks.
