Brenda Council

Brenda Lee Hester Council, 58, of Council, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bobby and Jesse Hester; sister: Dianne McDonald and brother: Jimmy Howell. Brenda is survived by her husband: Charlie Council of the home; son: Eddie “Jami” Vause and wife Wendy of Bolton; two sisters: Tammie Hayes (Greg) and Barbara Hester, both of Bladenboro; special brother-in-law: Buster McDonald; nephew: Ray Hayes; two grandchildren: Caylee and Chloe Vause.

Brenda was a very compassionate person and mother. She treasured her time with family and her granddaughters were the apples of her eyes. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church where she loved attending services. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Brenda enjoyed arranging flowers in her spare time and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends at 2pm on Sunday, June 30th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service beginning at 3pm. Rev. Terry Green will be officiating services. Burial will follow services in the Clarkton Cemetery.
