"Buck" Jackson

"Buck"  Arthur Ander Jackson, age 72, of Clarkton died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur C. Jackson and Eva Elizabeth Jackson; two brothers, David and Clyde Jackson; and one sister, Sadie McDonald.

He is survived by his wife Melva Jackson; a son Matthew Jackson of Evergreen; a daughter, Tammy Council of Clarkton; four sisters, Sara Ray of Hallsboro, Christine Column of Lisbon, Eva Mae Elkins of Clarkton and Carolyn Ellis of Bladenboro; and four grandchildren, Kimberly Council, Scotty Council, Marcus Jackson and Heaven Stocker.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. The service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel officiated by Rev. Charlie Tatum.
