Byron Davis

Byron Davis, 78 of Bladenboro passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at home. Byron was the owner and operator of Quality Pools of Elizabethtown that he began in 1968 and is still run by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Davis, one son, Byron Craig Davis, two brothers: Dewey Davis and Terue Davis,and two sisters Clara Thompson and infant Barbara Davis. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Linda Davis, of the home, four sons: Russell Keith Davis of Whiteville, Edward Earl Davis and wife Terri of Whiteville, Kenneth Wayne Davis and wife Jamie and Michael Kevin Davis and wife Bernarda of Bladenboro, one brother, Paul Davis, two sisters Mamie Seals and Larue Todd, all of Bladenboro, ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, August 18, 2014 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 2 pm at Oak Grove Original FWB Church in Bladenboro. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.
