Caitlyn Dean Bryan Clark, 29, of Elizabethtown passed away suddenly on, Wednesday, August 11, 2021 . She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Hugh and Mona Dean Clark, paternal grandparents Howard and Marjorie Bryan, one brother Jeremy Moss, and one Uncle Kenneth Bryan. She is survived by her father Daniel T. Bryan of Tar Heel, mother Cynthia Clark Russell (Terry) of Elizabethtown, two brothers, Daniel Clark (Jaime) of Elizabethtown, Anakin Russell, one niece Kaylee Clark, Uncle Alec Clark (Cindy), Aunt Ellen Jane Bryan, best friend Cynthia Dowell of Virginia, and many other extended family and friends.
Caitlyn was a compassionate young lady who cherished her family, friends, and her fur baby Jax. At the young age of 4, she became passionate about dance. Once she graduated from high school, she received her bachelor’s degree and taught dance to elementary students in Charleston, SC and then high school students in Huguenot High School in Richmond, Virginia. Caitlyn was currently working toward her masters in Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. When not working, she enjoyed hiking, helping others, and hanging out with her friends and family. Her tenacity for life and helping others will not be soon forgotten.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 10 am in the Wesley’s Chapel Church Cemetery (Daniel Side) in Elizabethtown. Rev. Lamont Hemminger will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Veterans PTSD Fund.
