Carol Ward

Carol Ward, 64, of Bladenboro passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Ward; brother, David Earl Ward and the father of her children, Steve Storms.

Carol leaves behind her husband, Bennett Ward of the home; son, Troy Storms and wife Amber of Bladenboro; daughter, Tina Hunsinger and husband Kevin of Haysi, Virginia; sister, Faye Edwards and husband Bryant of Bladenboro; eight grandchildren: Dakota Brewer, Chase Brewer, Kylie Nicole, Austin Hunsinger, Ashley Hunsinger, Landon Shaw, Chelsea Bordeaux, Waylon Benton; two great-grandchildren: Rayna Grace and Ryland Brewer.

Carol was a kind and compassionate lady who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved taking care of people and worked as a CNA. Some of her hobbies included: working in her yard, collecting antiques, and going to estate sales. She also loved to decorate especially at Christmas time.

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45am on Saturday, December 18th at Bladen-Gaskins Bladenboro chapel with a funeral service at 11am. Rev. Anthony Rich will officiate service. Burial will follow services in the Singletary Cemetery in  Butters. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Troy and Amber Storms, 1009 North Main Street, Bladenboro, NC 28320.
