Carolynn Edwards

Carolynn Dowless Edwards, 78, of Bladenboro, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Ethel Dowless; husband: Thomas Edwards; sister: Joyce Cheek; an infant son and a grandchild, Keithan. Carolynn is survived by son: Keith Edwards and wife Ellen of Lumberton; two daughters: Phyllis Julian of Bladenboro, Vicki Clark and husband John of Bladenboro; sister: Emily Harper and husband James of Clermont, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Kenny Yarborough (Amy), Blake McClenney (Caroline), Ashley Clark, Lauren Clark, Lindsay Harrell (Paul), Mary Caitlin Campbell (Michael), Keanna Kinlaw (Matthew) and six great-grandchildren.

Carolynn loved her family. She was an outgoing, christian lady who loved to talk and attend church. Carolynn also enjoyed collecting trinkets and traveling. She was a friend to all she met and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Tuesday, December 11th at Foundation Church in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Jason Williams officiating service. Burial will follow in the Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
