Carrie Looney

Carrie Louise Looney, 69, of Elizabethtown entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 20, 2008 at New Hanover Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Looney was born in Berrien County, Georia on February 3, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Carrie Lillian Hardy.

Mrs. Looney was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leo Hardy.

Mrs. Looney is survived by her husband,Billy Richardson of the home; a son, Tim Hardy of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Lynn Brady and Linda Kennedy both of Elizabethtown;one brother, Cecil Hardy of Orlando, Florida; two sisters Ethel Summers of Sebring, Florida and Katheline Bryant of Bladenboro;and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Greater Vision Freewill Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Junior Tyler officiating. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens.
