Catherine Suggs

Catherine Johnson Suggs,95, of Bladenboro passed away Thursday, October 20,2016. She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Mary Ann Johnson, husband Carl Suggs, three brothers: Bennie, Charles and Murray Johnson and three sisters: Rose Vaught, Evelyn Butler and Mary Lois White. Catherine is survived by two sons: Donald Suggs and wife Marianne and Mike Suggs and wife Karen, five grandchildren: Lauren and Leigh Suggs, Jake, Luke and Lacey Suggs, two great grandchildren Jack and Cate Suggs DeSorbo and special nieces and nephews: Otis and Billy Fisher, Shirley Bridger and Betty Jo Cain. Other special friends are Stella Lassiter, Evelyn Freeman and Woody Fussell.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:30 PM on Sunday, October 23,
2016 at First Baptist Church in Bladenboro followed by a memorial service at 4 PM officiated by Dr. Bert Young and Dr. Dickey Cain.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Bladenboro or Lower Hospice of Cape Fear.
