Cecil Edwards

Cecil Edwards, 91, of Calabash, NC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 12, 2011, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Caroline Edwards; three wives, Lorene Edwards, Phyllis Edwards and Marjorie Edwards, two sons, Clint and Charles; and two brothers, Charles, Jr. and Rethal.



He is survived by his wife, Eloise Brisson Edwards of Calabash, four sons, Jerry Lee Edwards of Beaver, WV; Stanley Edwards of Buchannon, WV; Kenneth Edwards of Roanoke, WV and Keith Edwards of Calabash; two daughters, Martha Ann Willis of Tucson, AZ and Shawn Michelle Edwards of Buchannon, WV; three sisters: Rose King of Hamilton, AL; Molly Sysmore of Johnson City TN; and Jean Blackburg of Hernado, FL; three stepsons: Mark Gooden of Elizabethtown, Randy Gooden of Bladenboro and Mikie Lupo of Atlanta,GA; one step-daughter, Denice Gooden of Bladenboro; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren,one great-great grandchild.



The family will receive friends Monday, March 14, 6-8:00 PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, March 15, at 2:00 PM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Bladen Memorial Gardens.
