Charles Gunter

Charles Leroy (Pete) Gunter, 77, U.S. Air Force Veteran of Clarkton passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Callie Gunter. Survivors include his wife Alice Gunter of the home, two sons: Charles D. Gunter and wife Janet of Oklahoma and Tim Gunter and wife Sandra of S.C.; two brothers: Jerry Gunter and wife Norma of S.C. and Billy Gunter and wife Faye of Elizabethtown, two sisters: Nancy Smith and husband Robert of Mooresville, NC and Judy Horne and husband Wayne of Lumberton, four grandchildren: Robyn Cook, Tommy Gunter, Samantha Gaudreau, and Heather Janicki and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-3:45 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Shady Grove Church in Bladenboro followed by a Graveside Service at 4 pm in church cemetery officiated by Rev. Jimmy Strole.
