Charles “Buddy” William Guyton, 94, of Bladenboro passed away Friday, February 5, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Louvenia Guyton; wife, Gertrude Guyton; daughter, Rosette Lynch; sister, Dora Hester and daughter-in-law, Ann Guyton.
Buddy leaves behind his two sons: Charles Guyton, Justin Guyton and wife Debbie, both of Bladenboro; daughter, Linda Bryan and husband Herbert of Bladenboro; son-in-law, Bill Lynch of Clinton; five grandchildren: Renee Leggett, Lisa Loflin (Jones), Jim Lynch (Brandy), Aaron Guyton (Jessica), Blair Lynch; ten great-grandchildren: Alex Loflin, Sydney Loflin, Jordyn Lynch, Pyper Lynch, Cross Lynch, Layla Guyton, Seth Guyton, Josh Butler, TJ Butler, Chase Butler and a very special friend, Margie Todd.
Buddy loved God and his family. He was known to be an exceptionally good carpenter. He enjoyed people, the mountains and bluegrass music. Buddy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Monday, February 8th in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro with Rev. Larry Hayes officiating. Face masks and social distancing practices are recommended.
