Mr. Charlie Aubrey Townsend, 83, of Singletary Millpond Road in Bladenboro passed away Monday afternoon, March 9, 2015. Aubrey was the son of Jerry Reuben Townsend and Nora Belle Lewis Townsend of Lumberton, both deceased, and the widowed faithful husband of Elizabeth Ann Humphrey Townsend (married 28 years, until her death in 1979) and then Margaret Taylor Singletary Townsend (married 19 years, until her death in 2013).
