Cindy Brisson

Cindy Michele Brisson, age 44, of Raleigh, formerly of Bladenboro passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Dillon and Thelma Brisson and her maternal grandmother Retha Cryder. Survivors include her grandfather Harvey Cryder, parents, Ellis and Geneva Brisson of Bladenboro, two sisters, Debbie Ragusa and husband Mark and Amy Brisson, all of Raleigh, one niece Megan Ragusa, one nephew Dillon Ragusa, and her best friend Jennifer Stacy.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 pm on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Bethlehem Pentecostal Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Maurice Milligan and Rev. Larry Gainey officiating. Burial will follow the services in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bladenboro.
Cindy Michele Brisson was an artist who loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was nonjudgmental, a real free spirit with a giving heart. She leaves behind a family which she loved dearly and the hope for others to see again through her loving donation of her corneas. She will truly be missed by all those that knew and loved her.
