Clarence Turner

Mr. Clarence Leo Turner, 89, of Elizabethtown passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011.



Mr. Turner was born on March 30, 1922 to the late Guy Thefton and Ethel Lennon Blackwelder Turner. He was a Sergeant in the United States Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 646.



The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 10:00 until 10:45 am at Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church services will follow at 11:00am with Dr. Gray Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown City Cemetery.



Mr. Turner is survived by his daughter, Lynda Turner Earp and husband Roy of White Lake; his sister, Helen Turner Grissett of Tallahassee, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Lee Earp and wife Lisa; Scott Collin Earp and wife Stephanie; great grandchildren, Jeffrey Lee Earp Jr; Marlin Renee Earp; Scott Collins Earp Jr.; Catherine Currin Earp; and a great great granddaughter, Marie Turner Earp.
