Clifford Burney

Cliford Jerry Burney, age 78 of Bladenboro, died Friday, December 5, 2014 at home. He is preceded in death by his son, Charles Kenneth Burney. He is survived by his wife, Carlene S. Burney of the home; sons, Ray Burney and wife Angie, Sandy Burney and wife Amy, and Keith Burney and wife Carla, all of Bladenboro; a daughter, Linda Phillips and husband Mark of Wilson; a sister, Maggie Grimes of Tar Heel; grandchildren, Jerry Ray, Jeffrey, Carly, Molly, James, and Kayla; and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Butter's Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
