Connie Adams

Connie Nance Adams, 70, of 9438 NC Hwy 242 South, Bladenboro, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Florida. The funeral service will be Friday, November 17, 2017 at 1:00pm at Richardson Baptist Church in Bladenboro by Reverend Anthony Rich. Burial will follow in Singletary's Cemetery Sand Hills.

Mrs. Adams was retired from Farm Bureau Insurance following a lengthy career in bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation. Mrs. Adams held several office management positions during her career in Florida and North Carolina. She was a trusted member of the community supporting individuals and businesses during tax season and throughout the year.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Hazel Parnell and her husband Larry Nance. She is survived by her husband Tullen Adams of the home; two sons: Larry David Nance Jr. and wife Raquel of Florida, Mark Nance of Bladenboro; four sisters: Delores Barfield and husband Mickey of Elizabethtown, Barbara Smith of Holden Beach, Sharon Parnell of Bladenboro, Nikki Parnell of Louisiana; two brothers: Jimmy Parnell and wife Jackie of Bladenboro, Mike Smith of Louisiana; six grandchildren: Allie Nance Hood and husband Brent, Mark Nance, Jena Babson all of Bladenboro, Larry David Nance III and wife Candace, Paul Nance and Myles Charlebois of Florida; two great-grandchildren: Holden Hood of Elizabethtown and Thomas Nance of Florida.

Memorials may be made to Richardson Baptist Church, 9842 Center Road, Bladenboro, NC 28320.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
