Crystal Coffman

Mrs. Crystal Abbott Coffman of Tar Heel, N.C., was born in Lumberton, North Carolina on May 23, 1986 and passed away on March 19, 2017 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Mr. Robert Stone, maternal great-grandfather, Mr. Boyd Stone, maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Bessie Anderson, paternal great-grandparents, Mr. Woodrow & Mrs. Mildred Hester. She is survived by her husband, Shane Coffman and daughter, Conner, of Tar Heel, N.C.; parents Joe and Lisa Abbott of Tar Heel, N.C.; sister Amanda Murillo and husband Andy, along with nephew Andru "Javi" Murillo of Tar Heel, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Rosa Stone of Tar Heel, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Norma Smothers, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and one of her best friends, Crystal "CP" Priest.

Mrs. Coffman was a 2004 graduate of West Bladen High School, and 2010 graduate of Cape Fear Community College. She was employed with Verizon Wireless in Wilmington, N.C. prior to her life changing car accident that occurred in 2012.

Mrs. Crystal Coffman was a member of Tar Heel Baptist Church, Tar Heel, N.C. where visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22 at 2 p.m., also at the church. A burial will be held immediately following services in the church cemetery.
