Curtis Watts, 83, of Bladenboro entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 16, 2010.
He was born in Robeson County to Major and Ruth Hollingsworth Watts.
Mr. Watts served in the United States Army and Navy. He was also self-employed as a painter.
He was predeceased by his parents, Major and Ruth Watts; wife, Ella Mae Watts; daughter, Betty JoAnne Polston; two brothers, Earl Watts and Clayton Watts; and two sisters, Blanche Lowry and Geneva Jackson.
Mr. Watts is survived by one son, Wayne Curtis Watts of Clinton; two daughters, Patsy Hughes and husband, Mitchell of Bladenboro, and Vickey Tyler of Bladenboro; one sister, Myrtle Lee Sellers of Bladenboro; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
A visitation is planned for Tuesday morning, January 19, 2010 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow visitation at 11:00 AM at Memory Lane Cemetery in Bladenboro.
