Danny Bryan

Danny Gordon Bryan, 93, a WWII veteran of White Oak passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn R. Bryan, his parents, William Sanders, and Gertie Lee Haire Bryan, five brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Miriam S. Bryan of the home, one daughter Jenny Herring and husband Joseph of Albertson; one stepson Stephen Hales of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren: Joseph Bryan Herring of Greenville, and Mary Anne H. Murphy and husband Bradley of Albertson and one great grandson Bentley Scott Murphy. A special caregiver, his niece, Toni Burney and two other special caregivers, Cindy Blanks and Earlene Meares.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 1:00-2:45pm at White Oak Baptist Church Fellowship Hall followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm in the church. Burial will follow services in the church cemetery.
