Darryl Conner

William Darryl "Cow Man" Conner, 46, of Carterville, Illinois, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Sih Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

Darryl is predeceased by his father, Roy Conner, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Josephine "Kitten" Conner of Bladenboro; wife, Toni Conner of Carterville; daughter, Marinda Riecan and husband John of Illinois; brothers, Roy Conner, Jr., Glen Conner and wife Kay, Morris Conner, Guy Childress, and David Childress, all of Bladenboro; sisters, Faye Hester and Lori Ann Conner, both of Bladenboro; 2 grandchildren, Hillary and Laney Riecan of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who inspired many with his courage and determination.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, at Bladen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce E. Cannon officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Chapel.
