David Armstrong

David Ricky "Rick" Armstrong of Fort Mill S. C. formerly of Bladenboro unexpectedly passed away early Friday morning, May 24th, 2013 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC.

He was born June 24th, 1954 to his parents, the late David Lee and Annie Armstrong. He was known and will always be remembered for his fun-loving and humorous free spirit. He was passionate about relaxing on the beach with sand between his toes and above all the undeniable love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his son Joshua Armstrong, wife Candace, and Grandson Ethan Lee Armstrong of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Connie Armstrong and fiancé Lonnie, and Bernadine Brady and husband Roger of Bladenboro, NC; Fiancé Kimberly Efird and soon to be step-daughters Hailey and Cassidy of Tega Cay, SC, and close friends Donna Jemison and Guy Jemison of Bladenboro, NC

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 26th, 2013 from 6-8pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, NC. Final Rites will be held Monday, May 27th, 2013 at 11am at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Faulk officiating.
