David Howell

David Dewitt Howell Sr., 72, of Clarkton, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Rossie Howell; brother, Dewitt Howell; sisters, Anna Caulder, Edith Jackson, Alma Lee Parker. Survivors include: spouse, Janie Cashwell, sons, David Dewitt Howell Jr and wife Stacy of Bladenboro, Steven Jake Cashwell of Elizabethtown; brothers, Richard Howell and wife Mary Jane of Clarkton, Jack Howell of Mocksville, Charlie Howell and wife Frankie of Clarkton, Billy Howell and wife Evelyn of Dunn; sister, Martha Newsome and husband Gene of Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Jaya Howell and Hope Bright; four grandsons, Jakob Cashwell, Matthew Blanks, Nathan Rodriguez, and Taylor Bright.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 18, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 3 pm at Whites Creek Baptist Church in Clarkton with Rev. Kincy Barrow officiating. Burial will follow service at Lewis Cemetery in Bladenboro.
