Deborah Harrelson

Deborah Jean Harrelson, 59, of Clarkton passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Sallie King, husband, Truman Harrelson, two sisters, Irene and Mary Ann. Survivors include: son, Markus Warwick and wife Adrianna of Raleigh; daughter, Tonya Shaw and husband Rick of Bladenboro; brother, Rodney King of Clarkton; sister, Brenda Strickland of Clarkton; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Daniella, and Gio.
Mrs. Harrelson had an infectious smile that would light up a room, a heart of gold and welcomed everyone with open arms. She was a great cook and loved to work in her yard. She loved her family and two poodles, Sammy and Daisy. Her grandbabies were the apples of her eyes, and she will surely be missed.
Family will receive friends Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 4-6 pm at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am at Whites Creek Baptist Church in Clarkton. Rev. Kincy Barrow will be officiating. Burial will follow service at Harrelson cemetery in Clarkton.
